The Morgan Creek HOA Annual Meeting was held via Zoom last Tuesday. The following are some highlights which should be of interest:
Four new committee members were approved by the Board. The Landscape and Architectural Review (ARC) committees are both seeking new members.
The HOA bought electronic speed signs for $3,00. Optimum placement is being decided.
Pedestrian gates are being fixed to repair locks and pins.
The Landscape Committee is investigating the Villas greenbelt to improve irrigation, replace areas such as putting greens with lower cost materials, and maintain failing trees. The Board has started an RFP process to generate a plan.
The recently circulated rock and bark rules were approved.
The driveway expansion rules were approved by the Board and is going out for 28-day comment. It will be discussed further at the January meeting.
There is no new activity to report on the golf course. The course continues to be busy.
There were 8 nominations received for three Board seats. Resumes and ballots will be circulated in December prior to the general election in January. The candidates are:

Action items in process were updated:
Storm drain maintenance: One proposal was received. Two more bids will be solicited.
Special Landscape maintenance proposals were sent to four vendors. Procidia was not included. There may be duplication in scope of work. There was concern that the Landscape committee was not involved. This was tabled to get more information.
Bocce Court: We have three proposals to replace the oyster shells. The order will be placed with the low bidder at $,1,708. Since it is now fall, optimal timing of thee work will be considered before proceeding.
Pest control: We have three proposals. Some discussion ensued about combining this with other landscape maintenance to achieve better pricing.
