The HOA Board announced an open meeting to be held today, March 15, at 6 pm via Zoom. Our apologies for this late notice but the meeting was only announced 4 days ago on Town Square. Why it is a Zoom meeting, and not in person, was not revealed. The following is the meeting notice including the Zoom link.

Last Monday Bonnie Gore sponsored a webinar update concerning construction plans and activities in West Placer and Roseville. If you have the time we encourage you to have a look at the replay available here.

The meeting lasted about 40 minutes. The major takeways:

Morgan Creek LLC’s project was listed as proposed. Alex Fisch, the County Planner put a name to it. It is now called Morgan Crossing. He stated that he expected to have an environmental impact report (EIR) available for circulation and comment in late spring/summer. This was a big surprise given that the back and forth between the LLC and the County seemed to indicate it wouldn’t be started until the County approved the project. Something for our Board and attorney to investigate.

Of general interest is the vast number of projects comprising tens of thousands of homes that are either already approved or in construction. The meeting was full of specifics.

Also, lots of commercial projects are approved for our neighborhood including the Baseline Marketplace at Fiddyment and Baseline containing lots of specialty shops and retail. The commercial area at Fiddyment and Pleasant Grove has also been approved including two Grocery stores yet to be identified.
