The golf course owners have submitted a new preliminary development plan to to the County. The application is still requesting SB330 expedited status. They have 180 days to submit a final plan. We have included a copy of the preliminary submission below. What we know.
- The plan includes 48 homes to be built on the east and south sides of Pinehurst adjacent to the existing homes. These lots likely will not require rezoning. The submission includes a plot map.
- They have removed plans to develop lots on the north side of Morgan Creek. While not in this submission, it is certainly possible they will return at a later date with another plan to develop these properties, but not now.
- The golf course will be changed to a 9 hole course with modified holes, possibly on both sides of Dry Creek. The clubhouse and banquet facility will not change.
- Details such as easements, cooperation with our existing HOA, an EIR, etc. still need to be worked out.
There is no action we need to take at this time but we need to be prepared as the planning works through the process.
