MC Golf Course Reopens

After a brief closure, Placer County health officials have amended their last week’s order, Golf courses and dog parks can now open as long as physical distancing guidelines are followed. The amendment took affect last night at midnight.

Wasting no time, golfers were observed this morning on Morgan Creek Golf Course. This makes sense to us as it gives people a relatively safe activity they can do without jeopardizing the health of others. Hats off to Placer County Health Department.

Golf Course Closure

There  seems to be a lot of mis-information going around about Morgan Creek Golf Course closure. The course is, in fact closed as of Saturday. This is not a plot by the owners. Rather, it is following a ruling by the Placer County Health Department requiring all public golf courses to close at least to May 1 to reduce the spread of Covid 19.

What this means for the golf course long term is anyone’s guess. However, it probably makes them eligible for government relief under CARE. Stay tuned.

BLOG HELPING HOA BOARD TO COMMUNICATE

In these difficult times the HOA Board has asked us to help them communicate important issues to the Community.  Since our job has been to facilitate information flow, we have agreed to try this as a parallel to their official conduit, Town Square.  So here is our first attempt, a message from the Board:

Letter to MC residents 3-2020

One more item we consider important:  Placer County has asked that all playgrounds, including those in Morgan Creek NOT be used at this time in order to prevent the spread of Covid 19.  We concur.  Please keep our kids safe and don’t do it.
