There seems to be a lot of mis-information going around about Morgan Creek Golf Course closure. The course is, in fact closed as of Saturday. This is not a plot by the owners. Rather, it is following a ruling by the Placer County Health Department requiring all public golf courses to close at least to May 1 to reduce the spread of Covid 19.
What this means for the golf course long term is anyone’s guess. However, it probably makes them eligible for government relief under CARE. Stay tuned.

Courses in placer county should appeal if that’s even possible, which maybe it’s not. I’m not a golfer but golfing seems to be one of the easiest sports to adjust to the new norms for “social distancing”. Don’t use carts if necessary, just carry or pull your own gold bag if needed. Easy to stay 6ft apart as well. Where a mask if you feel the need.
I agree Derek. Furthermore due to Placer County requiring an Open Plan Community that leaves Morgan Creek vulnerable and the residencies to all the pedestrians bicyclists dog walkers and kids driving their parents golf carts all over the course as I witnessed yesterday. And how many more jobs were lost. If your a Placer County employee you dont have to worry about that. Where is our County Rep ?
