We have an election coming up January 28 for three Board seats. These are your representatives. You need to vote for them. NOW! By now you should have received a ballot in the mail. If not, contact Sarah Wilson, our Associa Rep, at 916-474-5627 for a replacement.
Your failure to vote will cost us all money. As of Friday we have a dismal 53 ballots returned. If we don’t get over 200 more we will have to do it all again. Your vote counts. Mailing is expensive and its YOUR MONEY we’ll spend. We have to keep doing it until we get a quorum.
BOTTOM LINE, VOTE NOW. IT’S NOT HARD. JUST DO IT!
How about fining all those who don’t vote at least $10 or $25 on their next HOA dues to offset that expense. Maybe that will wake them up or at least cover the extra expenses
Oh come on Jay, this is America and we all have rights, including the right not to vote. I agree voting for Directors, as well as CC&R and Rule changes, etc. are important – everyone should express their voice or live with the results. It’s incumbent on this Board to keep the interest of our residents, not just rely on Town Hall messages that only go out to about 1/3 of our homeowners. Directors on previous Boards actually went door to door to encourage people to vote.
I guess it’s too late to get on the ballot right?
