Morgan Creek LLC (golf course owners) apparently have missed the latest deadline to respond to Placer County for their development application. We’ll find out more next week, but on it’s face is appears to be good news. It could be clerical error (unlikely), or simply a recognition of the changed building environment with developers concentrating on build-out of owned land, and reluctant to commit to new projects. We’ll see.
There will be an HOA open meeting this Tuesday, May 17 at 6 pm at Creekview Ranch School. The meeting will also be carried via Zoom. Details of location and Agenda follow:
It’s your community.. Please try to attend/participate!
I am hearing interest rates are heading upward since inflation is so high. Homes may become less affordable. Who knows where interest rates would be in a few years. Also, the political landscape does not appear to be solid, stable and well defined. I do not believe that most residents believe that they know what course or track we are heading on over the next few years. That can play a role in the economy and in development.
Wondering if this is because MC LLC’s original premise (losing money) was never valid and they will not open the books to the Planning Commission. Especially since they can now use the “club house” for big events, which will bring in significant revenue. If so, might they re-file for the development under a new premise? Hope not!
Good news! Yes, we will be there!
