You should have recently received a letter from our elections company asking for candidates for the upcoming Board election this fall. DON’T ignore it.
We worked hard earlier this year to get a board that is truly transparent and accountable to the Community. We need to keep it going.
PLEASE if you love your community, like where we’re going, and have ideas to contribute put your name forward as a candidate. The disrupters are still out there and will likely run again. We can’t let them succeed in returning us to chaos.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, help us build on our success. Throw your hat in the ring for a Board seat. Do it now.

Transparency – hardly! The current Board Members voted in an executive session, that we have NO access to monitor or make a comment, to cover the lawsuit expenses between 2 of our Board Members with HOA funds. This is certainly NOT transparent and is certainly NOT what I would expect our HOA fees to cover. No more chaos , just self serving business as usual.
So rather than complaining, Jim, why don’t you run for the Board. That way, you might be truly able to effect change.
Accusing me of complaining is a total cop out!! My wife and I have lived here since 2007 and have been very involved in community and Board activities over the years – my wife served 6 years on the Board. She and I led the effort to identify the funding for our vehicle and pedestrian gates so there was NO INCREASE IN MONTHLY HOA FEES. We also oversaw the project’s construction to keep it on time and on budget. Maybe you can run and contribute on the Board instead of just writing a blog.
