We are less than a week away from the voting deadline for election of Board members. Ballots must be received by February 5. We are still about 200 votes short of the needed quorum of 320! Come on folks, your failure to vote is not without consequences. Every time we miss a quorum our Association has to repeat the process. This is expensive: New ballot printing. New mailer and postage expense, Pavilion rental. $$$$$. This is to say nothing of the value of your vote in determining the direction you want your Board and Community to take for the future.
So how about it. If you haven’t sent in your ballots (that’s nearly 80% of you) get them in. Ask your neighbors and friends to do the same. Unless you want to continue to pay this wasteful expense, VOTE, VOTE, VOTE.
Excellent points!
I voted. I agree. Everybody needs to vote or this is wasting our time and we have to pay more fees to redo this each time. Lets go community. VOTE!
Please, if you haven’t voted already, take the time to vote! Right now, there are only 3 board members and we are experiencing some difficult situations, it’s absolutely vital that we get a board seated. Be sure and talk to your friends and neighbors. Let’s not waste anymore time and money by having to do this again. Be responsible—VOTE!!!
Great points well made! I sent in my vote.
Wasn’t the first ballot to be discarded due to some error? How many people did not get the replacement? We didn’t. Can we go to pavilion and get new ballot if we don’t have one?
Please call you community manager at Associa, David Jerue.
Yes, ballots will be available at the Pavilion prior to the meeting. There are also ballots available at the Associa office Monday and Tuesday. The Associa office closes at 5:00 p.m. weekdays.
Do we know if they’ll bring extra ballots to meeting ? That might make it easier than everyone driving over to office for those who didn’t get second ballot.
Hi Cathie, hope you saw the new post regarding ballots at the meeting on Tuesday. They will have them there.
